Airport Stuttgart

At Stuttgart Airport, up to 400 take-offs and landings with approx. 55 different airlines to more than 100 destinations worldwide take place every day. But in addition to the 4 terminals, 70 gates and 106 check-in desks, the airport also offers over 6,000 m² of space for shops, restaurants, bars and cafés. The visitor terrace

From here you have a unique view of direct flight operations. Watch the planes taking off and landing or how one of the huge jets is docked to a passenger boarding bridge. From the terrace you simply have the perfect view to see how each step interlocks - from cleaning, to refuelling and passenger boarding.

A special highlight is the mini airfield. Here, children can become pilots at a young age and park their aircraft in the right position.

You will find a terrace at Terminal 1 and one at Terminal 3.

Television Tower Stuttgart

If you want to see Stuttgart from above, a visit to the Television Tower Stuttgart is a must.

The tower was the first television tower in the world and has been standing for about 60 years with its 217 meters of steel-concrete construction. The short construction period of just 20 months was also impressive worldwide, so that the Stuttgart TV tower became a model and model for many television towers, such as in Dortmund, Frankfurt, Johannesburg and Wuhan (China).

Thanks to its special construction, the tower was able to accommodate a restaurant and a viewing platform in addition to the transmitter technology. Today, the television tower is one of Stuttgart's landmarks.

Planetarium Stuttgart

Do you dare to take the plunge into space? Or have you ever wanted to be involved in a cosmic collision? And there are many more possibilities at the Planetarium Stuttgart.

In addition to 21 weekly performances, the Planetarium also hosts a large number of irregular and unique events. It is always worth keeping an eye on the current schedule.

For reservations you can reach someone in the office of the Planetarium from Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon and from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.

simINN GmbH Flightsimulator Stuttgart

If you are afraid of flying, this is probably not a good idea for you, but for everyone else who has ever wanted to fly an aircraft in the air, a visit to the simINN flight simulator Stuttgart is worthwhile.

But don't just take off here - a 280 m² world of experience was created at the former airport of Württemberg.

They are first trained and briefed by professionals before entering the Boeing 737 or the Cessna 172 (with movement simulation).
